About counselling

 

Counselling can offer an opportunity to explore difficulties or distress you may be experiencing, or you may simply have a need for space to talk to someone in a safe and confidential setting.

I work over short or long periods of time, depending on what each person wants to address.

There may be a present concern relating to a specific difficulty which you would like to work on for a short, defined period of time or a pressing issue that is causing current difficulties.

Alternatively, you may be looking to consider more fundamental aspects of yourself where the focus is on a deeper level of experience and understanding, which may take place over a much longer period.

Most often, we would meet weekly at a pre-arranged time, but we can discuss individual arrangements at an initial meeting.

I work as an Integrative therapist and recognise that many psychological concerns also express themselves through the body.
