About me

I am a full member of the UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapists) and a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and abide by their ethical framework for good practice in counselling and psychotherapy.

Alongside my private practice I work with a rather revolutionary community counselling service in Hitchin.

I am interested in how we come to be ourselves and how we sometimes need help to find ourselves.

Training
I gained an MA in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling at the Minister Centre (London) the UK’s leading integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling Training institute.

It is important to me to keep up to date with current practice and developing ideas and I regularly attend training and professional development opportunities to enable this.

I am currently part way through training to become an accredited EMDR practitioner and I have also trained in Lifespan Integration.

Much of my interest is centered around more recent developments in neuroscience and interpersonal biology which supplement and expand established therapeutic ways of working.
